About The Root Sanctuary

I created The Root Sanctuary as a safe, sacred place to work through my biggest questions, deepest thoughts, and most profound life lessons.

I’m a bit of a paradox. I wouldn’t call myself overly emotional, but I feel things deeply. I’ve always been insatiably curious—constantly questioning, wondering, yearning to understand. I believe there’s an answer to every question, and there’s never a good reason to stay stuck. We are meant to grow, evolve, move forward.

I’m not religious. I don’t believe in a god or gods, but I do believe this life holds meaning. There’s a force—an energy, a presence—that’s greater than us. I feel it in the quiet, in nature, in connection.

My childhood was painful. Messy. It shaped me in ways I’m still unpacking. I was a spitfire—angry, hurt, wild. But through that struggle came something beautiful: wisdom, resilience, and a voice that now shakes with truth when I look back on how far I’ve come.

I fought my way into the life I always knew I was meant to live. And while I’m still learning through living, I no longer feel like I’m falling—I’m becoming. Now I get to reflect. To share. To use my story to help my children and anyone else who needs to hear it.

The Root Sanctuary is my outlet for healing, growth, exploration, and truth. It’s my way of leaving something behind in a world that often feels chaotic. Words have always been my power—this is where I use them.

This space is rooted in self-love. I hope something here inspires you to keep growing, too.
